Joe Swash, 42, refuses to rule out having a SEVENTH child with wife Stacey Solomon, 34, but admits he’s ‘so tired he feels like a zombie’

Joe Swash has refused to rule out having a seventh child with his wife Stacey Solomon.

The former EastEnders actor, 42, already shares four children with the X Factor star, 34: Belle, 15 months, Rose, two, and Rex, four.

He is stepfather to Stacey’s two sons from a previous relationship, Leighton, 12, and Zachary, 16, and has son Harry, also 16, from a previous relationship.

Joe told the mirror on Thursday: ‘I never thought I would be sitting here with six children. So you never know what life has to offer you. But if another baby gets thrown at me, there could be worse things.

‘It is very difficult. When you’re tired, you feel like a zombie. But they’re your kids and it’s the most satisfying job in the world. We both sing the same hymn sheet, but Stacey has more willpower. So sometimes I give in when they drive me crazy.

‘The big challenge is that they are all different stages. We must monitor everyone’s needs to ensure all needs are met. It is very difficult. When you’re tired, you feel like a zombie. But they are your children and it is the most satisfying job in the world.”

It comes after Stacey teased in January that she wouldn’t mind having more children either.

During an Instagram Q&A, she was asked, “Are you done having babies or do you want more.”

Stacey posted a video of her two youngest children Rose and Belle playing with their toys and admitted she would never rule out the idea of having more children.

She wrote: ‘I can honestly say that. My favorite thing in the whole world is being a mother. I just get so much joy watching our little ones grow and be part of their world.

‘I would like more. Whatever will be, will be. But omg I love them (Joe goes away for a vasectomy when he sees this).”

But in February, in a video of Stacey making Belle’s birthday cupcake, Joe can be heard saying, “We can’t have any more kids.” I can’t tell people I have seven children!’

Sharing the clip on Instagram, Stacey wrote: ‘Belle’s first birthday cake. Made by mom, with so much love, beautiful Belle. To be honest, I have never felt so emotional making a cake.

“I made all of my baby’s first birthday cakes. And if Joe’s reaction at the end is anything to go by, it’s probably the last one, why is it all happening so fast?’

Stacey said The mirror in May, coming home to Joe, her children and her dogs Peanut and Teddy is the favorite part of her day.

She told the publication: “I like coming home. My favorite part of the day is getting excited when I get home to Pickle Cottage where I live with my husband Joe [Swash] and five children.

‘Actually, my favorite thing in the world is curling up on the couch. And first the dogs, then all the pickles [the children] follow us and pile on top of me.

‘Just lying with them, watching TV, cuddling and being together… that’s where I belong. I know all too well that there will come a day when they would rather play on PlayStation, so I make the most of these moments.’

After finishing third on The X Factor in 2009, Stacey won I’m A Celebrity in 2010, where she met Joe.
