Elizabeth, 58, and Damian Hurley, 22, stepped out in style on Thursday during the promo for his directorial debut, Strictly Confidential.
Heading to The One Show, she looked stunning in a silver Vampire’s Wife dress, while Damian dazzled in a tight ensemble.
The mother-son duo stepped out shortly before Damian spoke The guard about the film and the film’s much-discussed sex scenes – which he directed while his mother was engaged in a lesbian clinch on camera.
Despite their professional candor, he very firmly revealed that he would never discuss his own love life with the megastar.
When asked if he discusses his own sex life with his famous mother, Damian, in a somewhat shocking twist, exclaims: ‘No! In no capacity, no! But we have always been very open. I never lied about where I was going.”

Damian admitted that he never had to stand up to Elizabeth because of her attitude, saying, “You only stand up to a dictator and my mother was never that.”
About his Austin Powers star mother’s acting talent, he said, “She’s fearless. She brings a sensuality to the screen that not many people can do, and she has no self-consciousness…
‘I’ve been on set with her since I was born, and she’s always been able to compartmentalize. Whatever else happens, she goes to this zone where she just ‘is’. Great actors can do that.’
Asked about the sex scene, he said: ‘It’s understandable that people are shocked. I mean, even the thought of your parents having sex is beyond horrible.”
His interview comes after he appeared on The One Show with his mother, where Elizabeth said starring in intimate scenes in Strictly Confidential was “comfortable” as “she had been filmed by him since she gave him his first camera.”
The actress said she was first filmed by her son when he was 10 and has “been filming her ever since.” She said: ‘He wrote sketches and initially small baby films but gradually moved into making bigger films.
“I always said I would be in his first movie, and because he filmed me so much, and because I often forced him to take pictures of me all the time, it just didn’t seem like anything. It was a very low budget film. It was just like, do it, punch it out and get going.”

Damian added: “This has been such a whirlwind. It was so great. It was really great that we had a lot of family and friends.”
Speaking about filming the steamy scenes in the film, which includes lesbian sex, Liz said: ‘Everyone knows it’s not actually sexy to film any intimate scene. It’s just technical. And we had rehearsed it. Damian made it so comfortable. It was nothing.’
Liz was joined by her ex Hugh Grant at the film’s screening in London on Wednesday, wearing a sassy green sequin dress.
Damian has defended his decision to direct his mother in the film’s raciest moments, revealing they didn’t even have an intimacy coordinator on set.
“What was really nice was that in the audience, in front of all my friends and family, everyone has known him since the day he was born,” Liz said.
“So to see him do this…it felt really nice.”
She added: “I think it was the most nervous I’ve ever seen you [Damian].’
However, production was not without its problems, with the mother and son revealing that they had problems shipping the costumes to the film’s shooting location in St. Kitts and Nevis.

Damian revealed his ‘male godfather’ was forced to smuggle in 80 bikinis after they were stopped at customs.
Damian said: ‘This was about a week before we were due to start shooting. I think about 80% of our costumes were denied entry at the border and sent back to the US.
“There aren’t really any costume shops. There is no infrastructure there for a film.
‘So I got my male godfather to fly in about a hundred suits, smuggled them in the suitcase and everyone wanted their bikinis.
“So my godfather stood there and said, ‘Of course these 80 bikinis are mine.’ What are you talking about? So they made it.”
When asked if that was Hugh, he replied: “He’s not the bikini smuggler, but he’s a godfather.”
The mother and son also revealed that several costumes from the film got stuck at customs in St. Kitt’s and Nevis, forcing Damian’s “male godfather” to smuggle them in, including 80 bikinis.
