Claudia is best known for hosting Strictly with Tess Daly, but has also appeared on shows like The Great British Sewing Bee, Hell’s Kitchen, and Best Home Cook.

It comes after Claudia earlier this week opened up about having to be ‘bad’ while hosting her new reality show The Traitors.

The TV presenter appeared on The Graham Norton Show to talk about her new series, which is based on the Dutch show De Verraders.

See the contestants selected by Claudia to be ‘The Traitors’, before they have to secretly plot to ‘murder’ their fellow players without their knowledge every day and try to steal their prize money.

Speaking about the series’ introduction, Claudia admitted that she had to do something that she felt “very uncomfortable” with while talking about having to be “bad” in her role.

On the next episode of Friday’s chat show, hosted by Graham, Claudia cryptically said, “I’m not always bad, but I had to do something at the beginning that I was very uncomfortable with.”

“I loved them all, but I knew too much about everyone, so I had to keep myself apart from everyone.”

Claudia went on to admit that she originally turned down the chance to host the reality show, before changing her mind when she saw the original Dutch version.

She said: ‘Initially I said no, but then I saw the Dutch version and cried. I loved it so much and I was like, ‘Please let me do it.’ I was so lucky to do it.

On the show, the contestants sign up before Claudia secretly selects a small number of players to be the traitors. The rest of the players are known as ‘The Faithful’ and none of The Faithful know who The Traitors are.

Players are then eliminated when the traitors meet in secret and decide to ‘murder’ one of the faithful. The next morning, when the group meets for breakfast, the ‘killed’ player does not appear.

Later in the day, all the players have to meet at the ‘Round Table’ and ‘banish’ the player they suspect to be a Traitor.

The person they choose then reveals whether they are a Traitor or a Faithful before being removed from the show.

At the end of the game, the few remaining players share the prize pot if they are all Faithful, but if there is still a Betrayer among them, the Betrayer takes all the prize money.

Producer Mike Cotton said of the show: “The series is an exciting psychological adventure game and Claudia is a huge fan of the format and is the perfect puppeteer to oversee this dramatic romp set in the heart of the Scottish Highlands.”

Claudia serves as the host of the nail biting series and talked about the show during her appearance on The Graham Norton Show.
