John Aiken has revealed his latest career move.

The 53-year-old announced he will be joining New Zealand’s version of Married At First Sight as a relationship expert alongside Kiwi sex therapist Jo Robertson.

On Sunday, the former cricketer took to Instagram to share his joy over the news.

‘Amazing to be officially part of the new series of MAFS NZ on @therenewzealand with the amazing @sextherapist!’

‘A skilled and highly experienced sexologist and therapist whose warmth, sass and great sense of humor made this one hell of a ride! I can’t wait to share it with you all at the end of May,” he captioned the post.

In the reality dating show, eight participants will conduct the experiment.

The New Zealand version of the program previously aired from 2017-2019 and featured experts Tony Jones, Stephanie Dowse, Dr. Pani Farvid and the late Trisha Stratford.

The upcoming fourth season will air in May and will be available in Australia on 9Now.

It comes after Aiken revealed whether fans will get their wish and see their beloved Lucinda Light return to the Australian version of the hit series.

Many have called for the fan favorite to join the panel of relationship experts next season.

But while John has said that won’t happen, he does see a big future for the bubbly blonde.

“No, I don’t think she could be a fourth expert,” he said Nine now earlier this month.

“Lucinda has many qualities and opportunities to come her way,” he continued.

“I thought it was great that she took part in the experiment because she was the voice of reason, especially for the young people.”
