Sexual wellness brand SKYN launches a $100 Mother’s Day bouquet with a VERY X-rated twist

  • The brand today debuted its $99.99 Pleasure Petal Mother’s Day Bouquet
  • Instead of flowers, the bouquet contains various sex toys
  • SKYN describes the vulgar alternative as ‘the perfect gift’ for a mother

Roses are red, violets are blue… but sex toys are even better for you! At least that’s what a very raunchy brand is hoping to prove with the launch of a highly X-rated Mother’s Day bouquet alternative that replaces beautiful stems with something more exotic.

Sexual wellness brand SKYN took a cue from Gwyneth Paltrow’s ultra-risqué Goop gift guides by announcing the launch of its $99.99 Petal Pleasure Mother’s Day Bouquet — a collection of sex toys and lube that tie together are strung to look like a collection of flowers.

According to a statement from the brand, the bouquet is intended to “help mothers relax and experience the pleasure they deserve,” with SKYN adding that the arrangement consists of the “most popular devices.”

The intriguing gift, described as ‘the mother of all bouquets’, consists of five different sex toys and a bottle of the brand’s own lubricant.

“The SKYN brand is all about elevating pleasure and intimate experiences through innovative and superior products,” said Marta Toth, VP Global Marketing and Innovation.

‘With Mother’s Day just around the corner, we wanted to give mothers the ultimate gift of pleasure. That’s why we created a bouquet filled with our most popular devices.

“We hope this Mother’s Day is the best one yet for those who are willing to fully indulge in the fun they deserve.”

While the bouquet is certainly unique, this isn’t the first time a brand has traded in traditional XOs for X-rated gift ideas.

51-year-old actress and lifestyle guru Gwyneth has made a tradition of filling the gift guides on her brand Goop’s website with all kinds of raunchy items, from chains and whips to vibrators and vaginal eggs.

Last Mother’s Day, the Oscar winner unveiled a gift guide filled with no fewer than four vibrators – although that total paled in comparison to the eight that came with it the year before.

However, it’s not just mothers who are being urged to share in the fun.

Father’s Day also prompted more sex toy advertising on Gwyneth’s part, with the actress and mother of two recommending a $219 hands-free prostate massager in her 2023 gift guide for dads.

Over the past four years, sex toys have become a celebrity favorite when it comes to product endorsements, with everyone from Harry Potter star Emma Watson to Fifty Shades of Gray actress Dakota Johnson extolling the virtues of a good vibrator.

A-listers have also become much more candid about their own personal use of the devices, with Will Smith’s wife Jada admitting in 2019 that she found it surprising how ‘shocked people are at her love of using sex toys’.

‘People are shocked at my love for using sex toys. “I know damn well I’m not the only one using them,” she said The sun.

‘No one should be ashamed of it, but I am still amazed at the way people deal with sex, and especially with female sexuality; it’s still such a taboo.’
