Buffy The Vampire Slayer reunion! Sarah Michelle Gellar flashes a big grin with Seth Green at 2024 Producers Guild Awards… nearly 27 years after starring together on hit show

Sarah Michelle Gellar smiled brightly as she reunited with her Buffy The Vampire Slayer co-star Seth Green at the 35th annual Producers Guild Awards in LA on Sunday.

The actress, 46 – who turned heads at the event in a dazzling silver dress – was spotted crossing paths with Green, 50, at the star-studded Ray Dolby Ballroom during the festivities.

The pair paused for a memorable moment together β€” after briefly reuniting at an Ed Sheeran concert in Los Angeles last fall.

In the hit series – which aired from 1997 to 2003 – Gellar notably took on the role of Buffy, while Seth played the character of Daniel ‘Oz’ Osbourne.

Later next month, on March 10, the show will celebrate its 27th anniversary since its first premiere.

Other stars cast in the beloved show included Alyson Hannigan, David Boreanaz, Charisma Carpenter and Nicholas Brendon.

The premise was: “A young woman, destined to slay vampires, demons and other hellish creatures, must live her life fighting evil, with the help of her friends,” he says. IMDB.

Regarding whether there will ever be a Buffy The Vampire Slayer reboot, Sarah told SFX Magazine earlier last year, per IndieWire, ‘I’m very proud of the show we created, but that’s not the case. We have completed that.’

She added, “I’m all for them continuing the story because there is the story of women empowerment.”

“I love the way the show was left: ‘Any girl who has the power can have the power.’ It’s set up perfectly so that someone else has the power.”

β€œBut like I said, the metaphors of ‘Buffy’ were the horrors of adolescence. I think I look young, but I’m not a teenager,” Gellar further explained.

Last year in September, both Sarah and Seth reunited while attending an Ed Sheeran concert in LA – and also had fun with another castmate, Emma Caulfield.

Gellar – who is married to Freddie Prinze Jr. – uploaded a few snaps as the trio posed together at SoFi Stadium.

The actress wrote in the caption, “My daughter wanted her 14th birthday party to take place at the @teddysphotos concert at @sofistadium.”

‘Her guest list may not have been what you expected (also swipe to the last photo to see how to turn a concert T-shirt into a killer dress). I also really love these people.’

She shared a selfie the pair took shortly before the festivities began, and the blonde beauty was seen puckering her lips at Green as he sent a smile to the camera.

Later in the evening, the mother-of-two also uploaded an adorable video of herself and Seth singing along to the lyrics to I Knew You Were Trouble.

On Sunday at the Producers Guild Awards, Gellar dazzled in a sparkling gray dress that fell past her ankles and also featured sheer sleeves.

The Cruel Intentions actress donned a pair of silver open-toed heels to match the color scheme of the look.

The beauty carried a small clutch in her hand while she opted for a pair of mini rhinestone earrings to accessorize the ensemble.

Her blonde locks were pulled up in a chic updo, allowing a few loose strands to flow down the sides of her face.

Green was seen wearing a classic black suit and a plain gray shirt that added a casual flair to his outfit.

Sarah has been keeping busy and recently starred in the Paramount+ series titled Wolf Pack, which she also executive produced.

Seth is known for his voice role as Chris Griffin on Family Guy, and most recently voiced the character of Howard the Duck in Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3 – which was released in May last year.
