Britain’s Got Talent SPOILER: Ant and Dec scream in terror as one death defying act leaps over their heads during latest batch of auditions

Britain’s Got Talent’s Ant and Dec were left terrified when they were dragged into an audition for a death-defying act during Saturday’s show.

The Geordie duo, both 48, were invited on stage as student Duncan Murray demonstrated his skills on a pogo stick with a series of daring stunts.

In a preview of the final show, the hopefuls lined up the hosts before bouncing high into the air and over their heads.

“You might want to tuck your head in for a moment,” Dylan suggested, as Ant let out a cry of anguish.

After successfully completing the trick, the audience and judges broke out in applause and standing ovation, as judge Simon Cowell, 68, gushed: ‘[This is] Something we’ve never seen before. You have everything’.

As Bruno Tonioli, 64, said: “Totally agree. I’ve never seen anything like it before, it was breathtaking!’.

Elsewhere in the show, Simon was unimpressed by Italian comedy act Umberto and Damiano.

The duo, well-known faces in their native country, took to the stage with a comedy skit based on Disney’s Frozen – after performing exactly the same on Italia’s Got Talent in 2022.

While one was dressed as Snow Queen Elsa, the other performed hysterical ‘special effects’ using a fire extinguisher and blue Ikea bags.

Bruno, Amanda Holden, 52, Alesha Dixon, 45, were left hanging, but music mogul Simon sat with his hands crossed and stared at the stage.

The duo present their own radio show in Italy and have no fewer than 172,000 followers on Instagram.

It comes after a report claim that more than half of this year’s golden buzzer acts, who have already made it through to the semi-finals, are not from Britain.

The judges alongside presenters Ant & Dec were all given the opportunity to send two contestants each straight to the semi-finals during auditions.

And according to The sunsaid a TV insider: ‘People know the show often features foreign acts – some of which are downright brilliant and in many cases win the competition.

‘But it is a surprise to think that the top players who are forwarded on golden buzzers often come from other countries.’

And last week viewers threatened to call Ofcom after three acts from Japan auditioned for the show.

Disgruntled fans admitted they felt the show should be for British people because of its name and wanted to take the issue to the British TV regulator.

Viewers were less than impressed when judge Simon gave away his Gold Buzzer to Cyberagent Legit, a professional Japanese dance act.

During Saturday night’s audition, a beatboxing group named Sarukani, a drone operator named Keiichiro Tani, and then dance group Cyberagent Legit all performed.

Britain’s Got Talent is on Saturday at 7.30pm on ITV and ITVX
