Swedish actor Bill Skarsgård has a new project.

The 32-year-old star has been cast in a remake of the horror film Nosferatu Deadline. And it appears 23-year-old French-American actress Lily-Rose Depp — whose father is Johnny Depp and mother is Vanessa Paradis — is currently in talks to join the project.

The film is directed by Robert Eggers.

Skarsgård will play the titular vampire character in the reboot of the classic 1922 horror film.

Depp plays a young German woman who is being stalked by the vampire.

The film tells the story of the ancient vampire’s obsession in the horror film, according to the site.

It took a while to bring the film to life as Eggers had some previous issues.

“It has fallen apart twice. I tried to get the word out because the word suggested that Harry Styles would be in the film,” Eggers previously told IndieWire of his efforts to make the project a success.
