Avengers 5 is rumored to begin filming in early 2025, and a Marvel supergroup is not expected to appear
Marvels Avengers 5 According to a new report, the film will officially go into full production in January 2025.
Per Nexus Point News – a website run by the same people behind the reliable Marvel leaker ScarletWitchUpdates Avengers film will begin filming not long after New Year’s Day 2025. The same outlet claims that most of the filming for the highly anticipated Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) film will also take place in Britain.
The ensemble team film, formerly known as Avengers: The Kang Dynasty until Marvel reportedly renamed it in the wake of the firing of former Kang actor Jonathan Majors, was originally set to hit theaters on May 1, 2025. universe – Avengers 5 was pushed back to May 1, 2026. If the superhero movie is going to make its new launch date, filming will have to start sharply, which is why the latest leak from Nexus Point News may have more than just a hint of legitimacy.
Marvel could delay the fifth Avengers film again if he thinks he needs a longer gestation period. But with Loki season 1 and Doctor Strange 2 writer Michael Waldron who has been the new head writer of the film since November 2023, the Disney subsidiary should – I hope at least – not say Avengers 5 back on the ice for a longer period of time. Naturally, a new director must be found for this Avengers 5 following the departure of former incumbent Destin Daniel Cretton, but the studio has plenty of time to fill that key role before principal photography begins.
Earth’s Mightiest Heroes gather, with one exception
This isn’t the only intriguing news to emerge Avengers 5 in recent days. According to prominent MCU leaker DanielRPK, who regularly posts about various Marvel projects in development on his site Patreon pagemultiple Marvel actors have been told to keep their schedules clear ahead of the film’s likely January 2025 start date.
One group of heroes that reportedly won’t be part of the proceedings is the Fantastic Four. DanielRPK’s latest claim suggests that Marvel’s First Family, who will make their MCU debut in 2025 The Fantastic 4, will not appear in any capacity. Given rumors that the quartet’s latest big-screen adventure will be set in an alternate universe – one that fits perfectly with The Fantastic 4 movie, in my opinion – it won’t be a big surprise if Mr. Fantastic, The Invisible Woman, The Human Torch and The Thing do not appear as part of the Avengers’ new look team.
That said, DanielRPK also suggests that the Avengers 5 selection will be much smaller than the one we saw Avengers: Infinite War And Avengers: Endgame, before going on to say that there will be plenty of “other new characters” in the same movie. Talk about contradicting yourself, huh?
You probably don’t need me to tell you this, but you should take that – and the rest, to be honest – with a huge grain of salt until Marvel confirms any and/or all of the above in due time.
