AOC launches into wild rant at anti-Israel protesters and calls them ‘f***ed up’ after they confront her at NYC movie theater and demand she calls Gaza military campaign ‘genocide’

Left-wing “squad” Democrat Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez lashed out at an anti-Israel protester who confronted her and her fiancé in a movie theater and demanded she call what’s happening in Gaza a “genocide.”

Pro-Palestinian protesters ambushed Ocasio-Cortez and fiancée Riley Roberts outside the Alamo Drafthouse boutique theater in Brooklyn.

“You refuse to call it a genocide, I want you to understand that this is not okay,” the protester says.

“It is not okay that a genocide is happening and you are not actively against it,” the protester added.

Ocasio-Cortez shouts in response: “You’re lying!”

Visibly angry, Ocasio-Cortez railed against the protesters.

“That’s what I said. And you’re all going to pretend it wasn’t the case.” Again and again. It’s damn man. And you’re not helping these people. You’re not helping them,” she says.

“Why don’t you say it in front of everyone, why us?” one responds.

The protesters continue: “If you can’t say it, just say it. Literal. We’ll just talk to you like normal people. Just say it’s a genocide. Just say it. More than 30,000 people are dead. AOC, can’t you say that just once? Just say the word, that’s all. That’s all we want you to say.’

Roberts tries to stop the protesters from continuing to follow her as they left the theater.

At one point, Ocasio-Cortez shouts that they are going to take what she says “out of context” and make it viral.

Ocasio-Cortez, seen as the most prominent leftist in the House of Representatives, has recently been critical of Israel in the weeks following the October 7 Hamas terror attack.

She joined her fellow Democrats in the hours after the attack in calling for “de-escalation and a ceasefire” and has repeated these claims, condemning both Israel and Hamas and condemning Israel’s military campaign the IDF has described as committing ‘war crimes’.

Ocasio-Cortez, seen as the most prominent leftist in the House of Representatives, has recently been critical of Israel in the weeks following the October 7 Hamas terror attack.

Ocasio-Cortez was even criticized for her Christmas post that called Israel a violent occupying force and compared Jesus to the Palestinians.

On Christmas Eve, AOC shared on Instagram a photo of a child lying on a pile of rubble surrounded by wooden nativity icons.

The New Yorker captioned the photo: ‘In the Christmas story, Christ was born in modern-day Palestine under the threat of a government engaged in the mass murder of innocents.’

She then compared Jesus, whom King Herod was hunting, to the “right-wing forces” currently “occupying Bethlehem by force.”

Her message sparked strong reactions online, with some accusing her of ‘Jew-hatred’.

Ocasio-Cortez’s sympathies toward Palestinians were noted as early as 2019, her first year in Congress

She claimed that Palestinians have no choice but to rise up against Israel – and agreed with a radio host that the country is ‘criminal’.
