A mysterious, locked green box has been found in the Blue Mountains, and many Australians are guessing what could be inside.
A photo of the box was shared on Reddit on Monday and was found by a curious Australian at the bottom of a hiking trail in Katoomba, western Sydney.
The box is concealed in forest green camouflage and blends in perfectly with the trees and surrounding bushland nestled deep in the Jamison Valley.
‘What’s in the box?’ they captioned the photo.
“It’s locked and chained to a tree in the Dardanelles Pass, at the bottom of the Giant Stairway.”
