A wild ride! Married At First Sight stars confess their secrets as they hitch a lift in Ny Breaking Australia reporter ALI DAHER’s car for a fourth year in a row

Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would become a driver for reality TV stars, but last year I once again became the unofficial Uber driver for the Married At First Sight gang.

I became the preferred mode of transport for this wild couple, whizzing around Sydney with a car full of love seekers and attention seekers while filming for the Channel Nine show.

I would compare my adventures as their personal driver to an episode of Days Of Their Lives.

It was a roller coaster of drama from airport pick up to drop off beach days and late night escapades.

And yes, my dashcam captured a lot of stuff, allowing me to make my own version of MAFS uncut.

This year, a record 17 stars, including fan favorites and villains, crammed into my trusty Toyota and transformed it into a mobile confession booth.

Lauren Dunn, Sara Mesa and Jonathan McCullough, among others, all shared their deepest, darkest secrets.

Here’s a glimpse of what unfolded during my unforgettable encounters with the MAFS stars.

It was a hot day and the 62-year-old was unsure where to catch replacement buses after the local train station closed for track work.

He was funny and incredibly grateful – I was quite surprised.

It was a short drive to Tamarama Beach, where I took a few cheeky photos of him taking a dip in the ocean, before deciding to race back to Skye Suites in the hope of seeing some more exciting action.

Jono, the drama king, talked about Laura’s weekend plans without him, which led to group banter that made the ride anything but boring.

I asked the group if they wouldn’t mind me sticking around to take some photos of them and they jumped at the chance.

Eden had her suspicions about me and remained wary when it came to questions about her marriage to Jayden.

Looking back, this could have been the beginning of the end for the couple, who announced their divorce this week.

There was a particularly funny moment when Lauren wasn’t too impressed to sit next to my spare tire in the backseat.

Jono’s biggest regret – and it’s not going on the show

The groom I was closest to was Jono McCullough, who revealed his post-breakup blues after his split from Laura.

He sought comfort in my passenger seat, complaining not about his lost love, but about his failed gaming strategy.

Just hours after being dumped by Lauren at Final Vows, I got a text from him asking if I wanted to catch up with him before he flew back home to the Gold Coast.

He admitted that he was worried about his edit after all the things that had happened between him and Lauren and admitted that he blocked her.

‘MAFS is a crazy game. Some people play it really well, but I didn’t play it well and Lauren played it really damn well,” he said before we parted.

Tristan gives cheeky feedback after spotting the dashcam

And how could I forget Tristan’s unforgettable ‘review’ of my esteemed taxi service?

The moment he turned on the dashcam, Tristan turned into an impromptu critic, expressing his unfiltered thoughts with the panache of a seasoned stand-up comedian.

“Hey, we’re filming in here. Oh, absolutely not. “I was in my own world for a while,” he said.

But Tristan was just warming up.

“The hero sits in the front, the villains in the back,” he joked, casting a mischievous glance at Jono and Ellie, who were unwittingly cast in the role of backseat antagonists in Tristan’s spontaneous screenplay.

But Tristan wasn’t done yet. He then turned his attention to the amenities (or lack thereof) in ‘Ali’s Uber.’

‘Welcome to Ali’s Uber. There is no aux cord,” he complained.

“There are no water bottles here. What the f**k? I have this spare two-day-old copy because I’m a diva now, Ali.’

He had everyone in trouble, which underlined the hilarity that ensued every time a MAFS star got into my car.
