Zoom virtual events are getting a serious makeover

Zoom has announced a new event management tool designed to help digital event organizers create sessions without the sacrifices associated with choosing a cheaper product, or without the unnecessary costs associated with choosing a more expensive product .
The video conferencing company said a “one size fits all” approach no longer works as more customers have become accustomed to online environments.
The new Zoom Sessions offering is therefore designed to enable better branding, analytics and engagement, driving better ROI.

The product is designed to support single-session events and gives organizers the chance to use analytics, use automation tools and integrations, collaborate with interactive features, and use custom brand assets.
Zoom Sessions is already on sale and sits somewhere between the Zoom Webinars it’s based on and Zoom Meetings, which is a higher-end, feature-packed offering. Prices (opens in new tab) is scalable depending on the number of participants you need, with licenses starting at $990 (£730) per year.
The events that require multiple co-hosts, Zoom has also made available backstage for Zoom Sessions, allowing organizers to collaborate before, during and after an event.
Of course, Zoom Sessions comes with all the features already included in Zoom Webinars, including support for videos up to 30 hours long, branded virtual backgrounds, and tools like Q&A, polling, and quizzes.
In addition to occasionally offering new products like many video conferencing platforms, Zoom regularly updates to make all business and personal plans better and more secure in an effort to maintain its significant share of the market, unlike Google Meet and Microsoft Teams.
