Zinedine Zidane rolls back the years at the age of 51 with silky touches and flicks during Real Madrid Legends vs Porto Legends

Zinedine Zidane turned back the years with an impressive impression in the match between Real Madrid Legends and Porto Legends.

The annual charity match took place at the Bernabeu, with proceeds going to the fight against ALS and the sustainability of the Real Madrid Foundation’s projects.

The star-studded Real Madrid team included Zidane, Raul, Roberto Carlos, Luis Figo and Steve McManaman.

But Porto came out on top thanks to a close-range finish from former Slovakia international Marek Cech after eight minutes.

Despite the defeat, it was Zidane who captured the fans’ attention throughout the match with some silky moves.

The 51-year-old showed he has not lost his excellent close control and tricks, which unseated some supporters during his playing career.

The World Cup winner with France joined Spanish giants Juventus in 2001 and spent the remaining five years of his playing career in a starring role at the club.

During his time at Real he scored 49 goals in 230 appearances, winning the Champions League in 2002 and LaLiga a year later.

After an illustrious playing career, his career as a manager has been successful since taking charge of the Bernabeu in 2016.

During two spells at Real, he won three Champions Leagues, two LaLiga titles and played more games in the Los Blancos dugout than any manager since the legendary Miguel Munoz, who managed them from 1960 to 1974.
