The 28-year-old country star faced a wave of criticism after screenshots of his apparent profile on celebrity dating app Raya circulated online.
After his alleged profile was made public, the Pink Skies hitmaker took to Instagram to reveal in a lengthy statement that he and Brianna – whose real name is Brianna LaPaglia – had gone their separate ways after more than a year of dating.
And while his ex was left in floods of tears, Zach has seemingly thrown himself into his work, as less than 24 hours after announcing his split, he took to social media to promote an upcoming project.
In the unexpected post, the singer belted out a few tunes while playing the piano, prompting fans to slam him for “toxically treating women for song inspiration.”

In the song, titled Rockaway, the singer recalls joyful memories in Queens, New York.
The lyrics included: “Remember when we went / to Rockaway Beach / summer heat in eastern Queens / and a ride on the subway / picnic chairs, umbrellas over dark brown hair / headed out into the tides to cool off, before winter came .’
The teaser appears to be a nod to his split from the content creator, leaving people on the internet shocked that he would promote a song so soon after his romance with 25-year-old Brianna ended.
Fans of the country star flocked to TikTok to share their thoughts on the clip, calling it “devilish.”
One person said: ‘He’s trash.’
Someone else wrote: ‘Treating women in a toxic way to inspire songs.’
