An Australian mother received a flood of unexpected messages from men after listing an outfit for sale on Facebook Marketplace.

April 24 posted an old photo of herself wearing the orange two-piece set to ensure buyers knew what the outfit looks like when worn.

But despite the “innocent” post, she was inundated with unwanted messages from “creepy” men.

In a now viral TikTok video, she revealed some of the messages received and caused an uproar online.

Australian mom April posted on Facebook Marketplace that she wanted to sell an orange two-piece set. She added an “innocent” photo of herself wearing the outfit (pictured). But to her surprise, she got an influx of messages from men

A man asked ‘Are you coming with the dress?’ while another said “Beautiful dress to impress” and a third said “Hi” with different emojis in the heart.

The outfit itself looked gorgeous, but showed a lot of skin.

“These guys are just too many,” April captioned the video, revealing that the marketplace post was seen by 15,080 people.

Like the Facebook post, the video caught the attention of thousands, but some believed April was “seeking attention.”

‘Innocent? I mean, come on,” one wrote, the other said, “You can’t really see the outfit, though.”

A third wrote: ‘LOL this is actually funny.’

April came to her own defense and hit badly at those who left negative comments.

“Just to piss you all off, I’m 100 percent sure that when you shop online…you look at models wearing the clothes…to show you WHAT THE OUTFIT LOOKS LIKE,” she wrote.

Uploading a photo of myself doesn’t mean I’m ‘asking for it’. I’m a new mom… in a healthy relationship, just trying to sell an outfit.’

“These guys are just too many,” April wrote over a TikTok video, revealing that the marketplace post was seen by 15,080 people. Other women online supported April and admitted they too have received similar messages from ‘creepy’ men

Other women supported April, admitting that they too have received similar messages from “creepy” men.

‘Omggg this is happening to me! I put my Depop clothes on the marketplace and it was insane,” one woman wrote.

Another said: ‘People have done this to me and I was literally completely modestly covered up and looking like sh*t. The creeps are the problem!’

“The number of other women commenting on this saying that you actually asked for those posts is amazing to me,” said a fourth.
