TOWIE’s Yazmin Oukhellou undergoing treatment on her scarred arm after breaking it while escaping horror crash that killed ex Jake McLean
Yazmin Oukhellou has revealed a glimpse of her scarred arm caused by the horror crash that tragically killed boyfriend Jake McLean last year.
The TOWIE star, 28, took to her Instagram Stories this week as she underwent cosmetic surgery to improve the appearance of the injury.
Yazmin, who now lives in Dubai, shared a photo of the Studio Avari salon in London showing a clinician using a laser.
Jake, 33, was killed instantly on July 3, 2022 when his blue Mercedes E-class sedan crashed down a mountainous road into a ravine in Bodrum, Turkey, while Yazmin, who was in the passenger seat, was seriously injured .
She has since revealed the details of that horrible day, describing how she tried to revive him and her subsequent search for help and was forced to break her own arm in an attempt to escape.

She said The sun“I tried to wake Jake, but he wouldn’t wake up. I tried to beep on the horn with my foot, but I couldn’t reach it.
‘We were in the middle of nowhere and so shouting for help was no use. I knew I had to get out of the car and somehow I found the strength to free my arm by lifting it with my left hand, raising my right arm and lowering it again for what felt like a eternity until I snapped it loose.’
She then found a man on the road to help her, but when paramedics arrived, Yazmin said she “already knew in her gut that he was gone.”
“They said they were taking him to another hospital and kept telling me he was alive and fine – I think because they didn’t want to cause me further suffering,” she added.
Yazmin – now suffering from PTSD, nightmares, flashbacks and panic attacks – went on to explain that she now wonders why she survived but he didn’t, saying she was angry that he was gone but she’s still here used to be.
She also receives therapy for her anxiety after initially thinking she would never get over it or be unable to “not see what she saw.”
Yazmin quit ITVBe’s reality show TOWIE last year and left the UK in favor of a career as a real estate agent in Dubai.
It was recently revealed that she was involved in a ‘secret feud’ with her former co-stars Junaid Ahmed and Dani Imbert – which would be another reason for her shocked departure from the show.

As it turned out, the reality star had decided to walk away from the popular ITVBe series nearly six years after she first joined, according to The sun.
It was alleged that Yazmin decided not to join the next series to process the “trauma” of what she went through with the loss of her ex-boyfriend Jake – and it is now becoming clear that a feud with her friends contributed to her departure.
Yaz unfollowed Junaid and Dani on Instagram — and she did the same for her — amid their bitter dispute.
That’s what an insider told me the publication: ‘Yaz has a fight with Junaid and Dani and unfollows them on social media, while they also unfollowed her.
“The reason for their beef is a bit of a mystery, but it’s been rumbling for a while and it got pretty toxic.”
“While it wasn’t the only reason Yaz chose to leave Towie, it definitely contributed to her decision as she didn’t want to film with them.”
“After what she went through last year with the crash and loss of Jake, she doesn’t want that kind of friendship drama in her life.”
