The bodies of a teenage boy and a man have been found in a home in New South Wales with gunshot wounds.
Both the boy, 15, and the man, 58, were found with fatal gunshot wounds on Thursday afternoon at the premises at Kookaburra Circuit, Yamba, northern NSW.
Coffs Clarence Police District Police were called to the house at 1.10pm after reports of bodies found inside.
Investigators do not believe a third party was involved in the tragic incident, which is believed to have resulted from a murder-suicide.

The 58-year-old man is said to be a licensed firearms owner.
Police have requested the man’s license history from the NSW Firearms Registry.
“At approximately 1.10pm (Thursday, June 1, 2023) police were called to a property at Kookaburra Circuit, Yamba after two bodies were found,” NSW Police said in a statement.
“The bodies of a 58-year-old man and a 15-year-old boy were inside the property, both with gunshot wounds.”
A crime scene has been identified, which will be forensically examined by specialized teams.
A full report is being prepared for the coroner.
