Boxing champion Ebanie Bridges has dubbed her upcoming world title defense against fellow Australian and swimwear model Avril Mathie the ‘Battle of the Boobs’.

Bridges, 37, has recovered from a hand injury sustained during her mandatory defense of her IBF title against Shannon O’Connell last December and is salivating at the prospect of a return to the ring against Mathie.

The all-Aussie showdown will take place on December 9 at the Chase Center in San Francisco as part of the Devin Haney-Regis Prograis undercard.

“Battle of the Boobs,” Bridges said Fans only.

‘She (Mathie) also has good breasts, but mine are better. I already won!

Bridges thinks people will write off her opponent because she also works as a model, but the champion believes Mathie will be very competitive.

‘She’s obviously a very beautiful woman. She also does OF (OnlyFans), and she is a swimwear model.”

‘I know a lot of people write her off, just like everyone wrote me off because I’m beautiful, a model and have an OF.

‘I think she will be a difficult opponent. In all the battles I’ve seen – and she’s been in a number of wars – she’s shown real grit.”

The pair recently took to Twitter, where Bridges warned Mathie that she was going to “smash her pretty face in it.”

Mathie replied: “It would only be fair if I already blew up your right t**.”

Bridges told Ny Breaking Australia shortly after the fight was announced that she has no bad blood with Mathie.

“I’m friends with Avril and I have a lot of respect for her,” Bridges said.

“She’s another girl who left Australia to pursue her dreams. She is very tough and has completely devoted herself to boxing.

Bridges says the pair will draw a lot of attention for the weigh-in before the title fight

The ‘Blonde Bomber’ has become known for her sassy weighing outfits, while Mathie usually steps on the scale in a small bikini.

And Bridges believes when the pair step on the scales before their title fight, the internet will collapse.

“The weigh-in will break the internet,” Bridges said.

“It will also attract a lot of viewers outside of boxing as people will be interested to see if these two ‘OnlyFans models’ can box.”

Mathie, who won the Miss Swimsuit USA International beauty crown in 2014, has eight wins, one draw and one loss in her professional boxing career.

Bridges, who has a professional record of 9-1 with four knockout victories, expects a tough fight against Mathie.

“I know she’s going to put up a big fight,” Bridges said.

“She’s super strong, just like all of us Aussies, but I don’t think she has the power or strength to keep me off her for very long.”
