A woman was stabbed to death after an argument with a man who is now under police guard.
Police received reports of an altercation between a man and a woman in Kassan Gardens, in Melbourne’s southeast Melbourne, at around 7:30am on Tuesday.
The woman was stabbed and died shortly afterwards.

Police say the pair are acquaintances, with the man in hospital under police guard in a serious condition.
The detectives are investigating and detectives are not looking for anyone else.
