Just 12 hours earlier, an 18-year-old man from Warrnambool, in the west of the state, survived a ten-foot fall from a cliff along Mount Muller Rd at Mirimbah near Mount Buller.

The teen lost control of his Holden Trailblazer and plunged off a cliff Friday night, sparking a large-scale rescue operation late into the night.

The fall of the vehicle was stopped by trees.
