Woman creates incredible miniature apartments from her favorite early 2000s sitcoms

A Los Angeles artist turned beloved TV show apartments into mini-sets including sitcoms Friends, Frasier and Full House

Up close, you’d never guess that Bridget McCarty’s detailed miniature movie and show sets were only a few inches tall.

McCarty regularly surprises her 200,000 Instagram followers with masterpieces that can take her 80 hours or even a few months to complete.

Her fans recently marveled at her creation of Dr. Frasier Crane, featuring an almost identical furniture set that was featured on the beloved show, Frasier, along with a spectacular outdoor city view of Seattle.

Other long-term projects she has worked on include the set of Stranger Things, Rugrats, Monsters Inc. and Harry Potter.

McCarty initially started making the 13-by-11-inch sets as a hobby until it eventually became her full-time job when people started buying her work, she previously shared. Trunk is alive.

Some of McCarty’s most viewed Instagram reels include Rachel and Monica’s New York apartment from the show Friends.

McCarty made several sets of Friends, including different corners of Monica’s apartment.

A small set focuses on the purple front door and kitchen. McCarty paid special attention to detail, making sure to create small plates, fake fruit and plants to make the set come to life.

Another favorite reel from the Friends set showed the famous Central Perk coffee shop.

The reel begins with McCarty pushing open the mini door with her finger, then revealing the inside with the familiar orange sofa, a coffee table filled with mugs and muffins, Gunther’s coffee counter, and even a mini series guest star, Ross’ pet monkey, Marcel.

Last year, McCarty blew Stranger Things fans away with the creation of Will Byers’ living room from season one.

She released a video of the house ahead of the show’s season four finale in July.

Fans were blown away by her attention to detail, which focused on the alphabet written in paint on the wall, along with colored string lights and a mini box of Eggo waffles on the coffee table.

In an interview with Hull Live last year, McCarty revealed that she hadn’t seen the show until she made the mini-set.

“I wasn’t watching the show at first, so I wanted to see what all the buzz was about. Now I’m a big, little Stranger Things fan! It took two weeks to make this one – it’s hard to put it down when you’re really excited about the final result,” said McCarty.

Another fan favorite was that of the Full House set. McCarty even captured the Tanner family’s family

McCarty has also created Halloween themed sets from the Michael Myers movie Halloween and The Addams Family.

During the holidays she made several Christmas sets.

McCarty said her secret to making the sets was a lot of hot glue, wood and paper, she told the news outlet.

She revealed that her inspiration for creating the sets was inspired by her grandmother, as she was known to carry small items with her.

The artist seems to keep himself busy, saying a project can take up to two months.

McCarty added that she gets a lot of her inspiration from sets by visiting craft stores.
