Do you want to stop stressing? This is what Kaylin says

  • Kaylin recommended meditating daily as a way to release stress
  • She is also a fan of affirmations, which are positive statements that resonate with you
  • It also helps to keep a gratitude journal where you talk about what you appreciate in your life
  • Start eating healthier and going to the gym to de-stress

'I always get questions about how I got rid of the bags on my face. And no, I didn't have surgery, it wasn't gua sha,” says Kaylin, who runs an online membership group called The highest self hottiesthat helps women 'light up', proclaimed.

“The biggest thing that's changed from then to now is my hormones,” Kaylin explained, adding that stress and her hormones were causing “so much inflammation” in her body.

Kaylin said she was swollen all over, even in her legs and arms, because she was holding on to “so much water weight” and stress.

“I literally have negative energy pouring out of my body,” Kaylin said as she showed off an old photo of herself on a night out in a little black dress.

The wellness influencer explained that she was “not eating anything” at the time and that “her body and mind were just so stressed.”

She thinks the biggest problem is that people view stress as “an emotion and not something that actually happens in our bodies.”

'Your body simply does not know the difference between mental and physical stress. So when your body is stressed, it's in a fight or flight mode, which means it's holding on to extra things to make it feel safe,” Kaylin claimed.

The content creator, who according to her TikTok bio focuses on “becoming a better you (sic),” believes her natural hormones were also suppressed because reproduction wasn't important at the time.

The only way to fix the bloating was to reduce her stress, which meant eating more and exercising less while focusing on her mental health, she said.

Kaylin used affirmations and worked on “just having a better outlook on life.”

'Once I was able to change my mindset, I was able to start exercising again, which helped me get the results in the gym. Plus the right hormones to support that,” Kaylin raved about her new outlook on life and her fitness routine.

Kaylin believes her lips and breasts both got bigger because she had more estrogen when she was no longer in fight or flight mode.

Kaylin suggested meditating and doing daily affirmations or keeping a gratitude journal to work on reducing your stress, which can cause both mental and physical problems.

“So if you've tried all the skin care, all the gua shas, all the facials, you need to look at lifestyle. How much stress is in your life, what foods cause inflammation in your body,” she advised.

Kaylin added that while it wasn't a quick fix and took a while, “it's so, so worth it.”

One commenter asked, “How can you reduce stress? I find it extremely difficult to relax, even when I actively try to do so.'

Kaylin replied, “Meditate!!! You have to slow down your mind before your nervous system will ever follow suit.”
