The thug who was shot dead during a home invasion in Los Angeles early Saturday morning was only tried for murder three months ago, DailyMail.com can exclusively reveal.
Abednego Adre, 20, of Inglewood, California, died at a Granada Hills home belonging to plumbing rental company boss Ross Parker, 46, while another member of the gang of at least three men who broke into the property was injured, the report said. Police.
Parker, seen for the first time in exclusive photos from DailyMail.com, opened fire after the men burst into his home early Saturday morning – with the LAPD responding to a 911 call reporting a ‘hot prowler’ at around 5am.
Adre, who was holding some of Parker’s belongings when he was shot, was mentioned during a police news conference Monday.
Now DailyMail.com can reveal the 20-year-old was no stranger to the law and was arrested and charged with a drive-by shooting murder in Compton in 2021 when he was just 18.

Although a Los Angeles judge decided prosecutors had enough evidence to take the case to trial, Adre was ultimately acquitted at a trial in September.
Adre lived in the notorious Inglewood neighborhood of south LA — an area that had a violent crime rate 80 percent above the national average in 2022, according to FBI data.
Despite a population of only 100,000 people, there were 17 murders, 1,525 reported thefts, 684 cases of violent crimes and 2,983 home burglaries.

In contrast, the northern suburb of Granada Hills, where Parker lives with his family, is a middle-class enclave with a median household income of $83,000.
Nevertheless, neighbors told DailyMail.com that the area is experiencing a spike in home burglaries, with one, who declined to be named, saying one burglary occurs every few days.
The homeowner says: ‘There have been a lot of burglaries lately. Not in this street but in the area. It’s one every few days.’
LAPD crime statistics show that there have been five home burglaries within a mile radius of Parker’s home in the past month, along with 10 thefts from vehicles, five car thefts and one assault with a deadly weapon.
When contacted by DailyMail.com at work on Monday, father-of-one Parker declined to comment on Saturday’s home invasion, while police said they were continuing to search for the other members of the gang.
Alan Hamilton, deputy chief of the LAPD Valley Bureau, said at a news conference shortly after the shooting that Adre was shot while confronting Parker in his modest three-bedroom home.
Hamilton added: “During that burglary, multiple rounds were fired by the homeowner and the homeowner struck one of the burglary suspects.
“There was a trail of blood and we followed it to the end,” he added. “We believe there were at least one or two additional suspects involved in this burglary who left this scene following the shooting by the homeowner.”
Hamilton also acknowledged the rising number of home burglaries in the Granada Hills neighborhood and said he believes Adre and his co-conspirators may be responsible for a series of similar crimes in the area.
He said: ‘Our Devonshire detectives have investigated a number of burglaries in this area which have occurred north and south of Rinaldi and we believe this incident is linked to that series of crimes.’

The latest outbreak of lawlessness in LA comes less than a month after another homeowner was involved in a shootout with a pair of would-be burglars.
Terrifying footage shows the moment father-of-one Vince Ricci pointed a gun at him during an attempted home invasion in LA’s affluent Mid-City neighborhood before pulling out his own gun and opening fire.
The two burglars are then seen running away as they fire back at Ricci, who told Fox Digital that the crime rate in LA is “not normal” in the wake of the November 4 incident.
He said, “Every single person I know is stuck. It is not normal.’
Ricci, who had previously been the target of a home invasion, said the suspects were two young men who were seen driving a Dodge Charger without a license plate.
Despite his gun license now being revoked, Ricci said he does not regret shooting the would-be robbers.
He said: ‘I know I didn’t do anything wrong because I had two chances I could have shot both kids in the back.
‘I chose not to do it. But in the video it looks like ‘oh, they ran away.’ They weren’t running. They shot back at me.”
Ricci added, “It [the gun] saved our lives. I’m a tough guy, but there’s only so much I can do against a gun.
“They would have pistol-whipped me, they would have pistol-whipped my wife. They would have entered the house and there is nothing in my house.”
