A young mother tragically lost her husband, son and mother in a car accident involving a truck on Monday afternoon.
Jernelle Larson of West Virginia, mother of eight-year-old Dylan, told an Ohio news station that “time is still with her.”
“It’s unbearable and it doesn’t move, but I’m trying,” said the devastated mother.
Troopers said Jernelle’s mother, Deanna Early, 56, had been driving an SUV eastbound on U.S. 35 and was attempting to turn left when she was struck by a semi-truck.
The family’s vehicle was pushed off the side of the road before hitting a guardrail and a tree.

Investigators say the SUV failed to yield to oncoming traffic and was struck by the tractor-trailer.
Early, Dylan and Larson’s husband, Donavan Larson, 51, all died from injuries sustained in the crash, which occurred Monday around 4:30 p.m.
The driver of the semi-truck was uninjured.
Jernelle said her husband was on his way back from North Dakota, where he was visiting family after losing his grandson to SIDS.
Her mother and son went to pick him up from the airport. On the way back they ended up in the fatal wreck.
Dylan is remembered by community members in Culloden, West Virginia as an extremely happy child with an outgoing personality.
His mother, who has another child – a daughter named Mariah – said he loved sports, which his coaches confirmed.
One of them, Dionte Coleman, said that knowing Dylan “meant loving him.”
“He was in our lives for such a short time and changed everyone’s lives in that time. It’s just fascinating.’
Staff at his primary school added that Dylan “was a great friend to many of our students and will be terribly missed.”

While still in shock, Jernelle mourned the loss of her husband, mother and son’s lives:
“He will never walk his daughters down the aisle. My son will never go to the prom. My son won’t graduate. My mother will not live the life she deserves, and it all happened in one fell swoop,” she said.
Friends in the community raise money for the Larsons in their time of need.
