we are people who love objects and we don’t care what you think

Meet the romantics who date inanimate objects and don’t give a damn what others think of their controversial relationship setups.

From rag dolls to Boeing 737s and even balloons, these love-struck individuals claim to have found love in the most unusual of places.

Experiencing romantic or sexual feelings for inanimate objects is known as objectophilia or objectum sexuality, and can involve varying degrees of commitment to the item in question.

While some people choose to share a bed with their loved ones, others have gone so far as to marry them and even start a family together.

Here, FEMAIL explores the unusual relationships people from all over the world have with inanimate objects…

‘I have a sexual relationship with a Boeing 737’

A woman in love has revealed that she is having a sexual relationship with an airplane.

Sarah Rodo, 23, from Dortmund, Germany, claims to have traveled more than 30 times in a single year to spend quality time with her lover.

The globetrotter admits she hates not being able to spend one-on-one time with her beau, but makes up for it by spooning her three bigger models into bed at home.

“I’m proud to be objectum sexual – it’s a beautiful sexuality,” Sarah told NeedToKnow.co.uk

“The only sad thing is that I can’t be alone with a real plane. I flew a lot last year to be at the Boeing as often as possible, I took about 30 flights and always combined that with a city trip or holiday.

“I also have five airplane tattoos.”
