Voters reveal whether they TRUST Biden or Trump more to tackle America’s biggest problems as president

Most Donald Trump supporters are not concerned about whether the former president will be convicted of a crime.

On the contrary, Americans say the economy, inflation and crime are at the top of their list of what matters when casting their ballots in November.

A new ABC News/Ipsos poll The numbers released Sunday show that 88 percent of voters will put the economy at the top of their list of issues when they go to the polls this fall — and Trump is favored by 14 percent to solve the issue over President Joe Biden.

Eighty-five percent of voters also say inflation is important to them in this year’s election, and crime and safety come in third, with 77 percent of voters saying it is a top issue.

On almost every election issue in the top 10, voters say they trust Trump more than Biden.

Moreover, 80 percent of Trump supporters say they would still vote for the former president if he is convicted before the election, the latest poll shows.

The latest results come after three weeks of Trump appearing in court in Manhattan in the case in which he was accused of falsifying company records related to payments to porn star Stormy Daniels to keep quiet about their alleged extramarital affair ahead of the 2016 election. 2006.

Only four percent of Trump supporters say they would no longer support Trump in the 2024 presidential election if the Republican is convicted in one of the four federal cases against him.

And 16 percent say they would at least reconsider supporting him.

Of the 2,260 American adults surveyed between April 25 and 30, 44 percent said they would vote for Biden, compared to 46 percent for Trump. This means that the four percent of Trump supporters who would abandon the former president if convicted of a crime could be statistically significant for the November results.

Nearly every poll over the past month has put Trump and Biden at a near tie, with margins of victory in hypothetical head-to-head matchups generally falling within the survey’s margin of error.

Trump beats Biden by eight percent on crime and security, and the same gap exists in addressing the war between Israel and Hamas.

Biden beats Trump on health care and abortion access, both of which are in the top 10 among voters in November.
