‘I was sl*t embarrassed at the supermarket’: Vogue Williams recalls being judged by a store employee for wearing a bikini on vacation
Vogue Williams has revealed that she was ashamed of wearing a bikini in a supermarket while on holiday.
The TV personality, 37, said an employee at the store had shamed her “sl*t,” and recalled the experience on her My Therapist Ghosted Me podcast.
The experience took place during a recent vacation from the mother of three, who said the employee had thrown “dirty looks” during the embarrassing experience.

Speaking to comedian Joanne McNally on the podcast, Vogue explained, “I got a little embarrassed at the grocery store.
“You know the way when you’re on vacation and you say, ‘Okay, I’ll go to the grocery store and wear my bikini, but like with a shawl over it and my flip-flops because I’m on vacation?’ Well, I walked in and this woman—the look I got from this woman.’
The Irish model admitted that it has made her look much younger again and continues: ‘I haven’t been watched that much in I don’t know how long. From the days when I had no clothes on at all.’
Embarrassingly: ‘I haven’t been looked at like that in I don’t know how long. I had no clothes at all from the days when I walked around,” she explained
If looks could kill: The ‘dirty looks’ she got explained, the star continued: ‘I walked in and this woman – the look I got from this woman’
Vogue claimed the employee asked her to cover up before giving her “dirty looks.”
“She looked me up and down and she said, ‘No, no, no’ and I was like, ‘Excuse me?’ and she goes “Pull this up”. During my shopping trip, she came by twice to give me a nasty look,” the star claimed.
The star went on to say that another woman had also been kicked out of the store for wearing a bathing suit and standing outside.

Admittedly asking why the other shopper was allowed to be in swimwear, Vogue told Vogue that she realized they were both ashamed of their clothes.
The podcast is released weekly, with Vogue and Joanne chatting and offering advice on the plethora of issues she and many others continue to struggle with during the episodes.
