Vick reveals that the pair enjoy cooking “nutritious” meals together in the evenings, with both following an organic, vegetable-rich diet.
Although their busy schedules don’t allow them to sit down to dinner until 9:30 p.m., Vick says she loves that they take the time to cook and eat and talk together.
‘Cooking something nutritious together without feeling rushed is precious. I lived alone for many years in a small flat in Hackney, East London.’
“I loved it, but I was constantly rushing out or eating in front of the television. Now I have found a little more rhythm and respect for how beautiful those times can be.’
Vick also reveals that the attentive Calvin recently bought her a set of watercolors to satisfy her love of painting. “I’ve taken them everywhere and painted flowers and birds, that makes me so happy,” she gushes.
Living with Calvin over the past year has shifted Vick’s priorities in life, she admits, explaining, “I still have a lot of career goals, but now I have strong ambitions in my personal life too.”
“I want to live a life that is peaceful and happy, surrounded by loved ones, and making time for them,” she admits of her shifting priorities.
“These things were never high on my list of priorities before, but they’ve taken over now. That’s more important than being on television all the time.’
