Vanessa Hudgens takes to social media to share first Christmas together with husband Cole Tucker

Vanessa Hudgens took to social media on Monday to share her first Christmas with new husband Cole Tucker.

The 35-year-old actress posted an adorable photo of her and professional baseball player Cole, 27, smiling in a selfie on a golf course.

“Merry Christmas from us golf-obsessed newlyweds to you and yours,” Vanessa wrote as a caption to her approximately 51.3 million followers, along with a Christmas tree emoji.

Cole beamed while wearing a bucket hat and dark shirt, and Vanessa showed off her dazzling smile while wearing a hat, white sleeveless top and golf gloves.

The picturesque golf course had views of the ocean and palm trees in the background.

Vanessa and Cole just got married on December 2 in Tulum, Mexico.

The actress later opened up about the marriage during a conversation with Vogue.

Vanessa, who shot to fame starring in High School Musical, admitted scouting out the wedding venue was no easy feat.

“The planning process was absolutely overwhelming,” the artist told the magazine.

'I knew I'd never been to a wedding the way I wanted my own wedding to look, so I had to think outside the box. Finding a location was the hardest part.”

The star added: 'I knew I didn't want to do it on the beach, in a ballroom or in a shed – these were all things I didn't want to do. Instead, I wanted to be surrounded by nature, greenery and foliage.”

And that's exactly what she got after booking the Mayan Jungle event.

Thinking about the Azulik Hotel, which she followed on Instagram, Vanessa came up with the idea of ​​tying the knot in Yucatán.

She recalled, “I said to Cole, 'Maybe we could go here on our honeymoon… we'd get such great pictures. Wait, maybe we could get married here?!'

“I also knew I wanted to get married somewhere warm, and our time to get married was so small because of Cole's [baseball] season is very long. I had the feeling of “Mexico, it is!” I also wanted a very spiritual place.'

The Spring Breakers star continued: 'At the end of this very long tour I thought, “Where should we have our ceremony?” and they said, “Oh, that would be in our museum” and they said, “It's 45 minutes in the jungle.” I thought, 'Okay, that sounds aggressive, but I think I'll give it a try.'

But Vanessa added: 'A lot of it was on an unpaved dirt road, and I went on to think, 'There's no way we can have our wedding here – how do we get our whole party here?' on this bumpy dirt road?”

Her fear disappeared when she saw the museum for the first time.
