Vanderpump Rules star Ariana Madix plays the role of a police officer in a Lifetime movie titled Buying Back My Daughter, and promotional photos have been released of her efforts in the film.

The movie role for Madix, 37, comes as she has been in the headlines for months after her longtime boyfriend Tom Sandoval, 39, cheated on her with her Bravo reality series co-star, Raquel Leviss, 28.

The Melbourne, Florida native was featured in a few photos released by Lifetime Wednesday to promote the movie, which is scheduled to release this fall. The Hollywood Reporter.

Meagan Good, Roger Cross and Faith Wright join Madix in the cast of the upcoming film directed by Troy Scott.

The film’s storyline revolves around a married couple (Good and Cross) who search for their 16-year-old daughter Alicia (Wright) who goes missing.

Alicia sneaks out of the house to attend a party and gets caught up in a human trafficking ring.

Madix’s character, Agent Karen, is involved in the investigation to locate Alicia and is personally involved in the investigation.

Barbara Marshall wrote the script for the Lifetime movie, which Good, Orly Adelson and Allen Lewis are executive producing, with Charles Cooper serving as producer.

Madix has been able to benefit from the publicity resulting from the scandal, as she has inked promotional sponsorships with companies such as BIC, SoFi, Lay’s and Bellesa Boutique, THR reported.

Madix has been a regular on Vanderpump Rules since 2013, appearing in 146 episodes of the Bravo hit.

Her previous acting credits include roles in shows such as Waking Up with Strangers, Anger Management, Paradise City, and The Other Two, as well as the 2018 Vivica A. Fox movie Dead End.

Elsewhere in the reunion special, Madix described Leviss as ‘diabolical, demented’ [and] inhumane’ for her actions involving Sandoval, adding that ‘selfish doesn’t cover it’
