Two dead and a third man fighting for life after horror car crash in Kakadu National Park

Two men have been killed and a third is fighting for life after a car crash in Kakadu National Park.

The men were driving along the Arnhem Highway, 90km west of Jabiru in the Northern Territory, when disaster struck.

Police were called to the scene at 2.44pm on Thursday and found the two men dead.

A third man was found seriously injured outside the car. He was taken to the Royal Darwin Hospital.

Detective Senior Sergeant Brendan Lindner said alcohol may have played a role in the crash NT news reported.

The road is closed in both directions.
