Two 19-year-olds accused of raping a British woman and filming the act in a Greek hotel have been released but must report to the embassy in London every month during the investigation.
The 24-year-old unidentified Briton claimed the two teens assaulted her in her drunken state last week in a hotel room in Rethymno on the Greek island of Crete.
She claimed the pair filmed the assault on their mobile phones after meeting them at a bar in town earlier that evening.
The woman said the three had consumed alcohol and went back to the hotel where the two men were staying. She said she woke up naked the next morning and didn’t know where she was.
Both men were arrested and appeared in court on Monday, where they were released under restrictive conditions and fined.

It’s coming JAbout two weeks after an Albanian man accused of raping a British tourist at sea and attempting to do so at her Rhodes hotel was released.
This time, however, the man was not allowed to leave Greece pending further investigation.
The British woman, 20, told police the 23-year-old man raped her earlier this month on June 3 after they went swimming at Glystra beach on the island’s east coast.
The young woman said the man then took her to her hotel room in Kiotari, where he assaulted her and attempted to rape her a second time. Vradini newspaper reported.
The tourist, who has not been named, testified that she had met the man two weeks ago and that they exchanged messages via WhatsApp before meeting in person last week.
The Albanian national urged investigators that the couple had consensual sex before eating dinner together and then going to her room to have sex again, the newspaper Dimokratiki reports.
The British woman, 20, told police a 23-year-old man raped her on Saturday June 3 after they went swimming on a Rhodes beach (pictured) on the island’s east coast.
The British tourist told police she met the suspect in her hotel room on the afternoon of June 3 before they agreed to ride his brother’s motorcycle to Glystra beach, where they went for a swim.
She said the man then attacked her while they were in the sea and raped her.
The victim walked onto the beach and put on her clothes before begging the suspect to drive her back to her hotel room.
But when they arrived at the hotel at 4 p.m. local time, the 23-year-old man followed her back to her room where he took off her clothes and again attempted to sexually assault her.
This time the woman managed to push him off and forced him to leave the room. The victim then left the hotel and reported the rape and assault to the Rhodes police.
Detectives began a manhunt for the Albanian man. He was found hours later and taken to the police station. A case has been filed against him for rape, for which he could face up to ten years in prison.
He has now been released on the condition that he does not leave the country. The investigation continues.
