Axed Fox News host Tucker Carlson will be one of the headliners next month at a Turning Point Action rally in West Palm Beach, Florida, as he takes his next steps back to prime time.
A day after he launched his Twitter show, DailyMail.com can reveal that he is one of the confirmed speakers for the group’s student conference.
Also on the bill are former President Donald Trump, fellow 2024 candidate Vivek Ramaswamy, and Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz.
It makes for Carlson’s highest-profile event since he left Fox News.
Charlie Kirk, founder and president of Turning Point Action, said, “Tucker Carlson has been and will continue to be the most powerful and influential voice in all media, regardless of medium.
Tucker Carlson has begun his comeback after leaving Fox News. On Tuesday he launched his Twitter show and next month he will appear at ACTCON 2023 in West Palm Beach, Florida
Carlson joins a lineup that includes 2024 runners Donald Trump and Vivek Ramaswamy
“Many have wondered if Tucker’s voice and range would be limited for 2024, but there won’t be a bigger stage anywhere in the country than ACCON 2023 in West Palm Beach, and the world will hear directly from one of the most important opinion leaders of a generation.
“We are honored to receive him.”
Details emerged after Carlson answered questions Monday night about his next move, debuting a new show.
He said he decided to broadcast his show on Twitter because of the freedom it gave him to address the issues of the day, without needing the support of legacy media outlets.
He compared it to Cold War broadcasts and said he hopes his show will be “the shortwave radio under the covers.”
Insiders say a second episode will be released this week.
He parted ways with Fox News in April shortly after parent company Fox Corp. settled a defamation lawsuit with Dominion Voting Systems for $787.5 million.
Charlie Kirk, founder and president of Turning Point Action, said, “Tucker Carlson has been and will continue to be the most powerful and influential voice in all media, regardless of medium.”
Claims followed that the star anchor’s departure was part of the plea deal for his role in spreading false claims about the 2020 election.
Carlson appeared at a fundraising event in Alabama last month when he joked that he now had more time to show up.
“I’m probably the first unemployed person you’ve ever invited to speak,” he said at the Oxford Performing Arts Center for the annual Rainbow Omega fundraiser, according to al.com.
‘It is funny. I never give speeches because I’m at work. When I accepted this speech six months ago or something, I didn’t realize how much free time I would have.
“You never know, do you?”
Next month, he will join darlings of the grassroots conservative movement like Rep. Lauren Boebert, Sen. Josh Hawley, Sen. JD Vance and MyPillow founder Mike Lindell
