As the 2024 election cycle begins to wind down, fiery Republican Kari Lake has taken time to recharge her batteries on a family vacation in the Bahamas as she plots the next steps in her political career.
She’ll be publishing her memoir next week, and it’s clear she’ll begin assembling a team to launch a run for the U.S. Senate in September.
But in the meantime, the former TV news host, who narrowly lost a bid to run for governor of Arizona last year, is relaxing on vacation.
Photos shared with DailyMail.com show her deep-sea fishing and messing around on the beach with her husband and two kids.

It meant Lake traded the Florida sun of Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate, where she regularly chatted with guests and political visitors, for a five-day vacation in the Caribbean.
His narrow defeat in Arizona last year saw her launch a series of lawsuits to overturn the result, winning her praise in the Trump world and bitter accusations from political opponents.
That feisty style — which often clashed with journalists — and her presence in Trump’s Florida home quickly elevated her to the status of a possible running mate if the former president wins the Republican nomination.
She downplayed the speculation, saying Trump doesn’t need anyone’s help to win next year’s election.
Friends say her first goal now is to publish her book “Unafraid: Just Getting Started,” which will be released next week by Winning Team Publishing.

Mainstream Republicans fear Lake’s loyalty to Trump and vociferous record of election denial could lead her to victory in the primary before dooming her to defeat in November.

Her latest lawsuit was dismissed in June, a decision Lake said she will appeal.
But the past five days have been mostly family time, spending a vacation with husband of 25 years Jeff Halperin, daughter Ruby, 19, and son Leo, 18.
She did make time last week to call Trump to wish him a happy birthday, calling him from the deck of a pleasure boat.
