The five days since Donald Trump was indicted by a New York grand jury have raised $10 million for his campaign, making it the most lucrative period yet, if his own numbers are to be believed.
On Tuesday, when he appeared in court, his campaign sent another email blast, this time with a T-shirt featuring a mock-up mugshot of Trump.
He has been able to use the latest legal twist to spark more anger and outrage among supporters.
In another email message to supporters as he left New York, he said, “You are the reason why I could NEVER give up on our mission to save America — no matter how mean and mean the attacks once got.”
“Since news of the indictment broke, I’ve learned that our campaign has raised over $10,000,000.”

The numbers could not be immediately verified because fundraising data is not required to be filed with federal authorities until the end of each quarter.
But in recent days, the campaign said it had received a flurry of small donations — a quarter of them first-time donors, averaging $34 each.
After the hearing, Trump posted to Truth Social.
“Will deliver comments tonight at 8:15 PM Mar-a-Lago, EAST,” he wrote.
The hearing was shocking to many because they had no “surprises” and therefore no case. Pretty much every lawyer has said there’s no case here.
“Nothing illegal was done!”
Trump, who was impeached twice by the US House but never convicted in the US Senate, is the first former president to face criminal charges.
The former reality TV star has hyped that story to his political advantage, raking in millions of dollars since indictment over claims of a “witch hunt.”

Trump is scheduled to return to his Palm Beach, Florida home, Mar-a-Lago, on Tuesday night to make comments. At least 500 prominent supporters have been invited, and some of the most pro-Trump congressional Republicans are expected to attend.
A conviction would not prevent Trump from running for president or winning it in 2024.
Trump denies having sexual relations with either woman and has denied any allegation regarding payments.
