Former President Donald Trump escalated his feud with Vice President Kamala Harris and her family on Monday by questioning why a Jew would vote for her.
Trump was asked during an interview with the Israel Hayom publication about Harris’ stepdaughter Ella Emhoff, who promoted a fundraiser for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) on her Instagram profile.
“I guess that means you should never vote for them,” Trump responded. “How can a Jew vote for Kamala Harris?”
Emhoff removed the link after a reporter questioned the White House about her actions. UNRWA is controversial because of its alleged ties for Hamas terrorists in Gaza.

Trump accused Harris of supporting Hamas.
“She supports the enemy, but he also supports the enemy,” he said, referring to the Biden administration’s frequent criticism of Israel’s handling of the war after the October 7 terrorist attacks.
Trump estimated that Harris would likely become the next president and questioned President Joe Biden’s physical and mental capabilities.
“Essentially, you know, that’s what’s probably going to happen because if you look at this guy, he can’t walk down stairs, he can’t walk across a room. He can’t find the exit to a stage without five different flights of stairs,” Trump said of Biden. “If this doesn’t work out, you might get Kamala Harris. Something happens to him and you have her.”
Trump previously sparked controversy for making a similar statement about Jews voting for Biden.

“Every Jewish person who votes for Democrats hates their religion,” Trump said during an interview that aired last Monday. “They hate everything about Israel, and they should be ashamed, because Israel will be destroyed.”
Trump’s comments drew stern condemnation from Harris’ husband, Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff, during a trip to Omaha, Nebraska.
“This is disgusting, toxic and anti-Semitic for anyone to say, let alone a former president of the United States,” Emhoff said.
On March 3, Harris made headlines after calling for an “immediate ceasefire” in the region, even though this was ignored by Hamas and Israel.
Harris was non-committal during an ABC News interview on Sunday when asked whether the Biden administration would impose “consequences” on Israel if they invade Rafah.
“Well, we’re going to take it step by step, but we’ve been very clear in terms of our perspective on whether that should happen or not,” she said.
