Happy Easter to weak RINOS and radical Democrats: Trump sends bitter Easter message less than a week after being indicted in Manhattan
- Donald Trump sent a message on Easter Sunday berating his opponents
- Ex-president accused political opponents of ‘dreaming endlessly about the destruction of our country’
- Comes after he became the first-ever indicted former president and was charged last week in Manhattan
Donald Trump’s message on Easter Day railed against those who “dream” of “destroying” the United States and promoted some of his key campaign ideals — such as securing the southern border and mandating voter IDs .
Despite the criticism from his critics, the ex-president still wished everyone a happy Easter in a Truth Social post on Sunday morning.
Trump was in New York last week after being indicted the week before by a Manhattan grand jury in the case of hush money payments to porn star Stormy Daniels.
Trump spent the night at his former home at Trump Tower in the Big Apple and was arraigned on Tuesday.

However, Trump seemed unimpressed by recent events and attended a UFC fight in Miami with singer Kid Rock, where the former president received thunderous applause.
Meanwhile, President Joe Biden is in Ireland to celebrate Easter.
“HAPPY EASTER TO ALL,” Trump began in his capitalized Sunday message.
“INCLUDING THOSE WHO ENDLESSLY DREAM OF DESTROYING OUR COUNTRY BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT ABLE TO DREAM ABOUT ANYTHING ELSE, THOSE WHO ARE SO INCOMPETENT THAT THEY DO NOT REALIZE THAT HAVING A BORDER AND POWERFUL WALL IS A GOOD THING, AND THE HAVING VOTE ID, ALL PAPER VOTES , & SAME DAY VOTING WILL SOON END MASSIVE COLLECTOR FRAUD, & TO ALL THOSE WEAK & PATHETIC RINOS, RADICAL LEFT DEMOCRATS, SOCIALISTS, MARXISTS AND COMMUNISTS WHO ARE KILLING OUR NATION.”
“DON’T FORGET, WE WILL BE BACK!” he warned.
Trump is on his third consecutive presidential campaign and already faces four challengers in his bid to retake the White House in 2024.
The other candidates announced so far include Nikki Haley, Trump’s former ambassador to the United Nations, biotech multimillionaire Vivek Ramaswsamy and former Arakansas governor Asa Hutchinson.
However, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis appears to be the only one who could give Trump a run for his money in 2024, though the popular Sunshine State manager has yet to announce a run.
DeSantis’ Easter message on Twitter was much more subdued than Trump’s. It contained a picture of a cross on a hill with the message: ‘He is risen. Happy Easter.’
