Trump Rips ‘White Dudes for Harris’ at Al Smith Dinner, Says Women ‘and Lovers’ Vote for Him

Donald Trump ruthlessly roasted the “White Dudes for Harris” group at Al Smith’s annual political dinner in New York City on Thursday evening.

As he took the microphone at the glamorous Catholic charity event, Trump ripped into zinger after zinger, repeatedly calling out members of the crowd as well.

But ‘White Dudes for Harris’ – a coalition of white men supporting the black, female Democratic presidential candidate – attracted particular attention from the ex-president.

“There’s a group called ‘White Dudes for Harris,’” he began. “But I don’t worry about them at all, because their wives and their wives’ lovers all vote for me.”

The crowd, including the event’s host, comedian Jim Gaffigan, who sat just a few seats away from the former president, erupted in laughter.

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer — the highest-ranking Democrat in Congress, who was also just one seat shy of Trump — wasn’t smiling.

The group’s leader, Ross Morales Rocketto, fired back in a post to X on Friday.

“Last night Trump claimed that all white men who voted for Harris are assholes. I think he will be surprised this November when we (and our women lovers) elect Kamala Harris as our next president,” leader of The White Dudes for Harris posted.

The group was formed to try to counter Harris’ weakness — and Trump’s strength — with white men in the polls.

“We know that as white guys we have both a strong and positive role to play in America’s shared future,” the group wrote on its site. “We are not going to let the MAGA crowd bully other white boys into voting for a hateful and divisive ideology.”

After the Trump jibe went viral online, the White Dudes for Harris X account hit back.

“Trump’s former lover is voting for (Kamala Harris),” they wrote. “His wife too.”

In total, the group has more than 200,000 members across the country who are committed to supporting Harris.

After mocking the group, Trump later targeted Schumer, who was sitting right next to the stage with New York Cardinal Timothy Dolan.

“Chuck Schumer is looking very somber here,” Trump said — prompting the Senate Majority Leader to challenge him by smiling and raising a few fists.

“But look on the bright side, Chuck. Considering how woke your party has become, you still have a chance to become the first female president if Kamala loses,” Trump said with a laugh.

“I actually said, ‘Do you mind if I do that?'” he told the crowd. He said no, you have to do what you do. He’s a professional. He is a professional,” Trump said of the powerful New Yorker who will still hold sway in the Senate when Trump returns to the White House.

The former president largely had an easy evening, charming the bipartisan crowd and delivering jokes that burned much of New York and Washington’s political elite.

The white-tie dinner raises millions of dollars for Catholic charities and traditionally offers candidates from both parties a chance to trade lighthearted incentives, make fun of themselves and show that they can get along — or at least do as if – for one evening in the final stretch of the election.

Other attendees included former New York mayors Michael Bloomberg and Bill de Blasio, current Mayor Eric Adams, former New York Governor George Pataki, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and Speaker of the House of Representatives Mike Johnson.
