Trump immigration advisor Stephen Miller asked if the US could use PREDATOR DRONES to kill migrants

Top Trump immigration adviser Stephen Miller asked if the US could use PREDATOR DRONES to kill migrants, according to a new book from aide who wrote ‘Anonymous’ op-ed

  • The allegations were made by ex-Trump administrator Miles Taylor, who gave his account of a 2018 conversation with a close associate of the ex-president
  • Miller has angrily denied the claims, but Rolling Stone reported seeing correspondence supporting Taylor’s version of events.
  • Taylor wrote an anonymous 2018 op-ed for the New York Times saying that he and other staffers tried to “frustrate parts of his agenda” out of duty to the US.
  • The former DoHS chief of staff endorsed Joe Biden in 2020

One of Donald Trump’s top immigration advisers asked if the US could attack and kill boats carrying migrants with predator drones, a new book claims.

Miles Taylor, who served as chief of staff of the Department of Homeland Security during the Trump presidency, said Stephen Miller brought up the idea in April 2018.

His claims – angrily denied by former White House aide Miller – are made in his new memoir about his time serving the previous administration “Blowback.”

Taylor, who supported Joe Biden in 2020, wrote that Trump’s confidante who has long argued that using deadly force against the asylum seekers would be legal because they had no rights under the Constitution because they were in international waters.

Miles Taylor made the claims in his new book about his time in the service of the former commander in chief

The extract was first reported by Rolling Stone magazine, which said it reviewed correspondence that supported Taylor’s version of events.

Taylor said Miller put the question to Paul Zukunft, an admiral then commander of the US Coast Guard.

The ex-official quoted Miller as saying, “Tell me why can’t we use a Predator drone to wipe out that boat?”

Zukunft is said to have looked “bewildered” before hitting back: “Because, Stephen, it would be against international law.”

“I don’t think you understand the limitations of international law,” Miller replied, according to Taylor’s description of the exchange.

But a spokesperson for the 37-year-old conservative activist told Rolling Stone that Taylor’s claims were untrue.

“This is a complete fiction that only exists in the mind of Miles Taylor who is desperate to stay relevant by fabricating material for his new book,” the spokesperson said.

Zukunft was quoted by the magazine as saying he had “no recollection” of the exchange as described in the bombshell book.

But he admitted that he “vividly remembered having a lengthy conversation with Stephen Miller in 2018 about Southwest border security.”

Miller was an influential voice in the Trump White House and was known for having the president’s ear on immigration

DailyMail.com has reached out to Miller through his America First Legal organization for further comment.

The 68-year-old now-retired admiral added: “To use deadly force to thwart maritime migration would be ludicrous and contrary to our nation’s vanguard for advancing human rights.”

Miller, who once served as spokesman for the Trump administration, was known for his no-nonsense views on immigration during his tenure in the White House.

He was the driving force behind Trump’s Muslim travel ban, supported the curtailment of refugee admissions, and wanted to deny green cards to immigrants likely to claim welfare benefits.

And in September 2021, the leftist news network CNN reported that Miller made racist remarks at a 2018 cabinet meeting discussing the plight of Afghans and Iraqis who had served in the US military.

Then-Defense Secretary James Mattis had advised President Trump that the US should process more visas for Afghan allies who had collaborated with the US and risked their lives.

‘What do you want? A bunch of Iraqis and “Stans across the country?” Mr. Miller was quoted by CNN.
