Trump beats Biden among YOUNG voters in new NBC poll – just three years after Dem president held 26 point lead over MAGA rival ahead of the 2020 election

Donald Trump is beating Joe Biden with voters under 35, according to another disastrous poll for the president.

The new survey, conducted by NBC News, shows that Trump has a two-point lead over Biden overall — 46 to 44 percent.

It is the latest in a series in which Trump has taken the lead. He leads Biden among every age group except seniors, who favor the current president.

Biden had a four-point lead in the same survey when it was conducted in July, while the pair ran into trouble when NBC surveyed voters in September.

But it’s voters ages 18 to 34 who are causing the biggest shock in this survey, as Trump leads Biden with that 46-to-42 demographic.

The disastrous polling news for President Joe Biden continues to pile up, as a new survey shows that his predecessor, Donald Trump, is even beating him in the polls among voters under 35

According to the newspaper, Biden won younger voters in 2020 by about 26 points over Trump New York Post.

Part of the problem may be Biden’s handling of the war between Israel and Hamas – in which young people have taken increasingly radical anti-Israel positions – with 70 percent of 18-34 year olds disapproving of Biden’s position on the issue, compared to 20 percent.

As with the overall results, voters over 65 are the only group that majority approves of Biden’s handling of the conflict.

Biden still leads Trump among black voters, women and whites with college degrees, while Trump has an edge among white voters, men and rural voters.

The survey – conducted between November 10 and 14 – contained more good news for Trump as he has a firm grip on the Republican primaries.

Trump leads the Republican primary — which will kick off in just eight weeks on Jan. 15 with the Iowa Caucus — with a whopping 58 percent of the vote. He is also 13 percent of voters’ second choice.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis continues to play second banana at 18 percent, trailing by 40 points. However, he is the second choice of a large number of Republican voters, with 36 percent choosing him over the rest of the non-Trump candidates.

Former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley comes in third with 13 percent, while businessman Vivek Ramaswamy and ex-New Jersey Governor Chris Christie come in at just three percent.

The new poll, conducted by NBC News, shows Trump leading Biden by a total of two points — 46 to 44 percent. It is the latest in a series showing that Trump has taken a lead over Biden

Trump also leads Biden among every age group except seniors, who favor the current president

But for the current president, it’s just the latest poll showing his hold on the electorate waning with less than a year until the election.

Biden administration officials believe they have a good news story to tell about the economy after bringing inflation back from post-pandemic highs of more than nine percent.

The president himself has often delved into “Bidenomics” — his effort to revive the nation’s industrial sector and create good-paying jobs.

“When Donald Trump looks at America, he sees a failing nation,” Biden said during a campaign stop in Chicago on Thursday. “When I look at America, I see the strongest economy in the world… leading the world again, the ability to set the world’s standards.”

A new monthly poll has been conducted for the Financial times and the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business suggests that most voters are closer to Trump than Biden in their analysis.

Democratic strategists Global Strategy Group and Republican polling firm North Star Opinion Research surveyed 1,004 registered voters across the country.

Only 26 percent said Biden’s policies had helped.

When asked what caused them the most financial stress, about 82 percent of respondents said price increases.

“Every group – Democrats, Republicans and independents – calls rising prices by far the biggest economic threat. . . and the biggest source of financial stress,” said Erik Gordon, a professor at the Ross School in Michigan.

“That’s bad news for Biden, especially considering how little he can do to reverse the perception of prices before Election Day.”

Recent polls for the New York Times suggest Biden could lose key swing states to Trump

The Biden campaign has dismissed the dismal polling as nothing more than “noise” and pointed to similar negative headlines a year before Barak Obama was re-elected president in 2012.

Last week, Michael Tyler, Biden-Harris 2024 communications director, distributed a memo after Democrats pulled off a strong set of election results, with the party taking control of both chambers of the Virginia General Assembly, the governor’s mansion in Kentucky, and with Ohio voters enshrine the right to abortion.

“It will be a close election, but this is a president and a team that does not shy away from battle,” he wrote.

“Joe Biden has been left out time and time again and has proven pollsters and experts wrong. This is the time to put your head down, get it done and bring this thing home in a year.”
