New footage shows Travis Kelce shut down any talk of retirement after he was filmed telling Patrick Mahomes he could ‘do this for 11 more years’ as they celebrated the Chiefs’ AFC title win.
Kelce scored a touchdown in a dominant performance on Sunday as Kansas City secured its ticket to the Super Bowl with a 17-10 win over the Baltimore Ravens.
Kelce endured a largely disappointing regular season in his 11th season with the Chiefs, but returned to form at the right time in the playoffs.
Last week, former NFL sideline reporter Michelle Tafoya claimed that Kelce would follow his brother Jason into retirement at the end of the year.

“I haven’t found anything outside of football that challenges me, like play-off football,” he said.
‘And I don’t know if I’ll ever find it. And that’s one of the things that keeps me playing this game until the wheels fall off.”
“It’s an energy and an excitement that I haven’t found anywhere else in the world, and it’s something that I certainly cherish,” he added.
And on Sunday, he once again hinted that he still had plenty of gas left in the tank as he celebrated with Mahomes in Baltimore. Kelce hugged his quarterback and said, “I love you, kid.”
Mahomes responded, “This never gets old, man.
Kelce responded, “Hell no! It makes you feel younger, honey. I could do this for another eleven years. Baby, let’s go!’
His brother Jason exclusively told DailyMail.com that he could also continue in the NFL after reports emerged that he would end his career this summer.
The two brothers then hugged on the field, with Jason telling Travis to “finish this mother***er.”

Minutes later, the 36-year-old – who has suggested he could retire after this season – told DailyMail.com: ‘When you’re in this atmosphere, man, it’s really hard not to want to continue with this to go.’
He added: “The game remains difficult to play – selfishly, physically. It’s a grueling sport and it has its problems playing it as you get older… (but) it’s hard. It is very difficult. I’ll be honest with you.’
The Chiefs secured their spot in a fourth Super Bowl in five years on Sunday with a second consecutive road victory in the postseason.
It means they will take on the San Francisco 49ers in Las Vegas on February 11 and the presence of girlfriend Taylor Swift is expected to take the NFL’s showpiece event to even greater heights.
Swift has attended 12 of Kelce’s games this season and is now expected to reach 13, her lucky number, in the Super Bowl in Las Vegas in a fortnight.
The pop star will perform in Tokyo in the days before the match, but will make a mad dash across the gauntlet to be in Nevada.
Immediately after the Chiefs’ huge win in Baltimore, Swift took the field and the pair shared a very public and passionate kiss, with the cameras of the world focused on them.

In that immediate hug, it has been suggested that Taylor said “I love you” to Travis without him verbally reciprocating the gesture.
But now a new clip has surfaced, showing the NFL’s microphones following Kelce around the field, during which he does indeed say the L-word to his girlfriend.
Travis meets her on the field for the second time and approaches Taylor to say, “Tay, I’m going to have fun with the boys”… before kissing her again and saying, “I love you.”
The high-profile couple then share a big hug, before Swift tries to create some privacy by whispering something in Kelce’s ear. As the couple breaks apart, she says, “EVER.”
it’s the first time cameras have caught the pair publicly declaring their love for each other, with their relationship now four months old.
In the match itself on Sunday evening, Kelce was again in incredible form. He caught all eleven passes he received and also opened the scoring with a touchdown.
