Travis and Jason Kelce get standing ovation before Cavaliers-Celtics game as Cleveland Heights natives are toasted in their return home after the elder brother’s retirement from Eagles
Travis and Jason Kelce received a standing ovation at the Cavaliers’ Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse as they were honored by their hometown team.
Jason announced his retirement from the NFL on Monday, while his younger brother Travis is fresh off his third Super Bowl win with the Chiefs last month.
And the brothers were cheered by the crowd after a tribute video was shown for Jason, with the Eagles holding up a Cleveland Heights T-shirt and Travis holding up a No. 62 Cavs jersey with “Kelce” on it.
They both wore custom black Cavs jerseys with their football jersey numbers on them as the crowd behind their seats on the field went wild.
The Cavs also gave away bobbleheads Tuesday night, while also selling exclusive Kelce/Cavs merchandise to benefit local schools.

The brothers are residents of Cleveland Heights, Ohio and lifelong fans of their hometown Cavaliers.
In a nearly two-minute video dedicated to Jason, the Cavs included footage from his childhood to his professional NFL career.
The montage also included a voiceover from his brother Travis, who said, “All he knew is that he was going to work hard and do his best.
“Sure enough, I sat there taking notes and watched him do it.”
In another clipTravis could be seen hugging Cavs star Donovan Mitchell, who is currently out with a bone bruise.
And so were the brothers gifted with the team’s golden ball.
