Tottenham missed out on Leandro Trossard after hesitating over a deal for TWO WEEKS, the Belgian’s agent reveals, as Arsenal snatched the £27m Brighton star from him by agreeing a deal within 24 hours.
Leandro Trossard’s agent has revealed that Tottenham were interested in signing the Belgian before he completed a £27m transfer to north London rivals Arsenal.
Mikel Arteta has been keen to strengthen his attacking options as the Gunners seek a first Premier League title since 2004 and the 28-year-old Trossard fits the bill.
Trossard’s agent, Josy Comhair, says he held talks with Tottenham for two weeks, but indecision on Antonio Conte’s side meant they were lost in the extreme.

“The Spurs have been in contact with us for the last two weeks,” Comhair said as reported by evening standard.
“But it was, ‘We want it, but wait for this, wait for that.’
“On Wednesday we contacted Arsenal, 24 hours later they had an agreement.”
Trossard could be in Arsenal’s squad to face Manchester United in a pivotal clash at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday, with the club revealing that it had submitted all the necessary documentation to the Premier League.
