Channel Nine presenter Scherri-Lee Biggs has married former AFL player Daniel Venables in a stylish outdoor ceremony in his hometown of Perth.

The couple, who have been dating since 2021, tied the knot on Sunday at the quaint Old Young’s Gin Distillery in the outer rural suburb of Henley Brook.

Scherri-Lee, 32, looked stunning on her special day in a white lace gown with intricate patterns on the skirt and bodice, as well as a long tulle veil.

Daniel, 24, wore a white tuxedo jacket as he showered his wife for their first kiss as newlyweds in front of family and friends.

A day earlier, the couple had thrown a party at a waterside restaurant for their nearest and dearest.

Scherri-Lee shared a photo of their wedding on Instagram and confirmed in the caption that she had taken her husband’s last name when writing ‘The Venables’.

She also posted a series of photos from the reception as the couple partied the night away with their guests, including Nine News Perth news anchor Tracy Vo.

Daniel, a former midfielder for the West Coast Eagles, surprised Scherri-Lee with a proposal on the beach just before Christmas last year.

“Forever is not enough with you,” she wrote on Instagram at the time, along with a photo of the couple embracing by the ocean while showing off her diamond ring.
