Today Extra presenter Sylvia Jeffreys was left speechless after a child comedian swore during a live interview on the breakfast show.

Sylvia and her co-host David Campbell interviewed father and son duo Laddie and Lehmo on Monday after a video of them telling jokes on a cruise ship went viral.

The 38-year-old then asked Laddie what his joke was about and was shocked by the seven-year-old’s response.

“You told your favorite on stage, didn’t you? What was that about?’ Sylvia asked.

“It’s about shitting his pants blind,” Laddie responded before Sylvia covered her face and burst out laughing.

An amused David said: ‘I didn’t know he worked blue. I understand why you got the job. So it’s an over-18s event, I guess.”

Laddie’s father is established comedian Anthony Lehmann, 54, who once co-hosted a popular Triple M drive-time program with Wil Anderson.

It comes after Sylvia recently revealed her secrets to creating the perfect family holiday.

The Sydney-based mother of two shared her top recommendations for creating the perfect family getaway, based on her recent trip to the Gold Coast in May.

To write for Nine tripsthe media personality explained how revisiting locations from her childhood allowed her children to create their own special memories while fostering a sense of tradition.

“The three-mile jog back to Surfers Paradise was fueled by my excitement that my children were about to build their own holiday memories in the place where I forged mine,” she wrote.

“Sometimes a big dose of the ‘familiar’ is just what the doctor ordered,” she explained.

The media personality also emphasized the need to strike a balance between children’s fun and parents’ relaxation.

“Successful family vacations depend on a little quid pro quo,” she admitted.

‘We all know that the balance is heavily tilted in favor of those most likely to throw a tantrum, but we, as mothers and fathers, have to take the victories where we can get them.’
