“If the Great Resignation has taught us anything, it is that there is power in numbers,” she explained an interview from 2022 with the Washington Post.

But she didn’t expect the overwhelming response from social media users: “I thought it would be a success, but I had no idea it would go so viral.”

“The reason we decided to share how much we’ve made is because we can’t just talk the talk, we have to walk the walk,” Williams said. the Washington Post.
“One of the most common questions we get from our community in the comments section is, ‘How much do you make?’ And I think that’s a fair question.’
Through brand partnerships, Williams brought in $1,012,329, a significant portion of the $1,043,740 she made last year.
“Sometimes our partnerships with one brand are worth six figures, and that’s because we work with them all year long,” Williams explained in the video.
“Having a viral video doesn’t make you a millionaire,” she said. ‘We learned that very quickly.
“But if you have the passion and idea to build a business behind a social media page, you can generate a lot of revenue from brand deals,” she added.
She and Daniels have created hundreds of videos that have been viewed nearly a billion times, and also built a website with payment information and resources for job seekers.
She said: “We have to look at this as a business but also consider the impact. It’s really not just about viral videos. The question is: what can we do with this information to ensure it doesn’t just get lost in the interwebs? How do we have an impact?’
