TikTok couple’s disturbing ‘relationship’ videos go viral after boyfriend is arrested for shooting girlfriend in the face

A Texas couple’s disturbing relationship videos on TikTok went viral after the influencer’s boyfriend was arrested for shooting his girlfriend in the face.

Ladarius Morshun Brownlee, 28, was arrested in the early morning hours of July 5 after he allegedly confessed to shooting his girlfriend, Seyeddah “Zahra” Hashemi, 28. Police found her lying in the street with life-threatening injuries.

Brownlee now faces one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and three counts of deadly conduct, according to the Dallas Morning News.

He is being held on $900,000 bail as TikTok users go through their videos on the popular page @denoandzahra, noting signs that it may have been an abusive relationship.

In a video now circulating on X, Brownlee can be seen putting Hashemi in a chokehold and telling him to “get out of my video.”

“I don’t like you,” she says.

“Go to sleep,” Brownlee says, continuing to wrap his arms around her neck.

“No, you go to sleep,” she replies as she starts hitting him.

Brownlee then appears to walk away, but when he comes back into view, Hashemi tells him, “Deno, I’m literally going to beat your ass.”

At that point, Brownlee puts her in a chokehold again and says, “Go to sleep, go to sleep.”

In an attempt to escape his grasp, she begins to hit him.

After she injures her hand, Hashemi bites him.

“Okay, okay,” he says, pushing her away.

“That’s what I thought,” Hashemi replies as he walks away.

Another video posted on May 30 shows the couple apparently arguing about their relationship status, with Hashemi visibly annoyed before telling Brownlee, “I’m in love with you.”

And in a third video, posted on May 27, Hashemi claimed her boyfriend wanted to “wake up grumpy.”

TikTok users are now combing through his videos with Hashemi, pointing out signs that could indicate they were in an abusive relationship

“I don’t understand why you want to wake up with a bad attitude,” she tells him.

He tells her to ‘stop talking to me’ and leans close to her while she is still in bed. She says this gave her an arrogant attitude.

“Who cares?” asked Brownlee.

“I care about you,” she replies.

He then asks why his bad attitude caused her to have a bad attitude too.

‘Because you have an attitude, it’s so incredibly annoying. Because if I stay calm and be nice to you, you just want to get meaner and meaner.’

At first he denies that he is getting angrier, but because she keeps saying that he is getting “meaner,” he tells her to “fuck off.”

“Don’t tell me what to do,” Hashemi snaps back.

“I tell whoever I want to do whatever he wants,” he replies.

Hashemi then begs him to “lose his attitude,” claiming, “You’re grumpy for no reason.”

But Brownlee claims she’s the one who’s grumpy.

“No, I’m not grumpy, you’re annoying,” Hashemi replies.

That only made Brownlee more angry and he said, “I get it, get out of my house!”

“No, get out of my room,” she replies.

“I’m tired of this shit,” Brownlee says as the video ends.

“What are you tired of?” Hashemi asks.

“I’m tired of you and me… being the same every day,” he says, before claiming he just needs a vacation.

A video from May showed Brownlee yelling at Hashemi to “f*** the f*** off”

Witnesses say the couple’s relationship was stormy and physically violent.

Those who were with Hashemi and Brownlee on July 4 said they got into an argument as they left a fireworks show that evening.

At one point, the fight became physical and Brownlee ordered Hashemi into the back of his 2024 Chevrolet Blazer SUV, WFAA reports.

“The occupants of the vehicle told officers that Hashemi and Brownlee were still arguing as they drove away from the location,” according to a statement obtained by the local news station.

He then reportedly drove less than three miles from the park before stopping the car.

According to police, he then pointed a gun at the passengers in the back of the car and shot Hashemi just above her right eye.

Brownlee subsequently confessed to shooting his girlfriend during a 911 call. He confessed again during police questioning.

When police arrived on scene, they found Hashemi lying in the road, outside the vehicle, with life-threatening injuries. She was taken to a local hospital.
