“They need child-free sections on planes!” Parents criticized for letting their toddler ‘run’ on her table during a long-haul flight
A bunch of parents have been slammed online after letting their toddler “run loose” during an eight-hour flight.
Earlier this year, a video of the anonymous child misbehaving was posted on the Reddit forum ‘Public Freakout’.
The nine-second clip shows the young child, believed to be from the US, standing on the table attached to the chair in front of them.
While yelling at her parents, the toddler starts jumping up and down on the tray.
As a result, the man’s chair in front of the toddler begins to shake as the table seems to break under her weight.

The video was met with anger from Reddit users – who branded the parents ‘idiots’ for allowing their child to misbehave
Despite the man’s attempts to ignore her, the child causes further nuisance by placing both her hands on his headrest as well.
The clip ends with the little girl turning to face a woman who appears to be her mother.
According to the person who filmed the interaction, the child behaved during the long journey – which prompted them to film this short clip.
They invited other members of the forum to comment on the incident and endorsed the clip: “Letting children run wild on an eight-hour flight.”
The post has garnered more than 2,000 outraged comments on the forum — and people were stunned that her parents had allowed her to act this way.
One of them replied, “I’d feel like a failed parent if my kids did this and I just allowed it.”
Another added, “My only child is a tornado and NO F***ING WAY would I allow her to act like that in public let alone on a flight.

“It’s just bad parenting.”
A third said: ‘Idiot parents are like, ‘It’s just a kid being a kid – chill out.”
However, others were surprised at how unphased the man seemed to the toddler – some speculated that he could be the child’s father.
“I’m pretty non-confrontational, but even I would stand up and say something,” a fourth replied.
A fifth added, “Why does this man just let it happen? I would have said something.’
“I bet he did,” a sixth replied. “A parent who is willing to let their child behave this way will not listen to anyone asking them to stop.”
“The parent is an idiot,” added another. “Not only is this rude, it’s damn dangerous.”
“They really need to introduce child-free sections on airplanes,” one critic commented.
