The Vamps wow fans at sold-out show in Sydney

British pop band The Vamps have hailed their Sydney performance as “one of our favorite shows of all time”.

The band, made up of members Brad Simpson, James Brittain-McVey, Connor Ball and Tristan Evans, said they had a “crazy experience” at the Enmore Theater on Friday night.

They arrived Down Under earlier this week to kick off their greatest hits tour to celebrate their decade-long career on the music charts.

“Being on the other side of the world and sharing that with you was so special,” they wrote in an Instagram post on Saturday.

They then revealed that their performance in Sydney was filmed and would be posted online on their subscription-only website.

Ahead of their concert at the Melbourne Forum on Saturday, a group of ticket holders camped out outside the venue in anticipation of the show.

The British pop band performed to a sold out screening audience of young women.

At one of their shows in Australia, two of the band members did a ‘shooey’ on stage drinking alcohol from one boot.

After a sold-out tour of Australia, they will perform in Asia with dates in Japan, Thailand and Singapore.

Last year, band member James McVey revealed that he underwent liposuction at the age of 20 while detailing his battle with his own body image.

At one of their shows in Australia, two of the band members did a ‘shooey’ onstage while drinking alcohol out of a boot.

The guitarist admitted on UK chat show Loose Women that he underwent the fat removal procedure despite being underweight at the time.

I would starve myself, then eat a lot to try to bulk up. I became a horrible person, it still affects me to this day,’ she confessed.

The Vamps have released five albums during their career and had several hits in Australia, including Can We Dance and Somebody To You.
